iPhone 6 pre-orders in China reportedly reach 20 million

According to a report from China, pre-orders for Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have reached 20 million. The Cupertino giant opened the books for its smartphone duo in the country a few days ago, on October 10. The report points at higher interest towards the 5.5" iPhone 6 Plus in the vast market. The data is said to include pre-orders from Chinese wireless carriers and other retail channels, including e-commerce platforms. Apple's iPhone 6 duo hit the shelves in 36 new markets today. Xiaomi Mi 4 and Redmi Note to land in India within 60 days

Xiaomi has so far had great success in India, where it's been holding weekly flash sales for a while. However, the only two devices that the company has offered Indian buyers until now have been the Mi 3 and the Redmi 1S. Things will change soon, thankfully. Both the Mi 4 (pictured below), the Chinese smartphone maker's current flagship handset, as well as the Redmi Note, its first phablet, could become available in India within the next two months. The information comes from Hugo Barra, Xiaomi's VP for international markets, so it's as official as it can be. Keep in mind though that things can change, and a specific release date hasn't been set for either device. Also, the Mi 4 won't arrive in India before December. Sony Xperia Z3 for T-Mobile up for pre-order on October 15

After Verizon premiered the Sony Xperia Z3 under the name of Xperia Z3v its now time for T-Mobile to start selling the device. The US carrier announced a month ago that it will carry the device. The Sony Xperia Z3 is set to arrive in brick and mortar stores on October 29 but an online pre-order will be available from October 15 for T-Mobile customers. Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition is official with Kirin 928 chip

At an event today in Beijing, Huawei officially unveiled the Honor 6 Extreme Edition packing the company's latest Kirin 928 chipset. Its comprised of an 2GHz octa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM and Mali T628MP4 GPU. We're yet to see how much faster the Kirin 928 is compared to the Kirin 920 found in the Honor 6. Visually, the phone retains the exterior of its predecessor and keeps the 5" 1080p display. The phone runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and offers LTE-A Cat.6 for the networks that support it. Internal storage is 32GB and is expandable via the microSD card slot (up to 128GB). At the back, there's a 13MP snapper teamed up with a 5MP front-facing shooter. Under the non-removable back cover sits the same 3,100mAh battery as on the original Honor 6. The company is also launching a bunch of accessories for the Honor 6 Extreme Edition. Expect specially designed headphones, a 0.2mm tempered glass screen protector, 2 NFC tags and a limited edition "Road and force" protective shell.
