South Korean tech giant Samsung has received approval to test its self driving cars on public roads in its home country. The country's Land Ministry gave the nod for a test run today. Until now, the company was testing its autonomous car technology on a modified race track. Alleged nubia Z17 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 835 SoC and Android 7.1.1 OS

A new ZTE nubia device has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website. Listed as NX563J, the handset is powered by Snapdragon 835 and has 4GB of RAM. The listing also reveals that the phone runs Android 7.1.1 OS. The NX563J is alleged to be the nubia Z17, as the nubia Z17 mini that was made official earlier last month carried NX569J model number when it was spotted on TENAA. Samsung Galaxy S7 sales hit 55 million milestone

Samsung has managed to sell more than 55 million units of its Galaxy S7/S7 edge flagship smartphones till date. This was revealed by market research firm Strategy Analytics in a new report. The first quarter of the ongoing year saw the South Korean tech giant selling 7.2 million Galaxy S7/S7 edge units, the report noted. In total, Samsung sold 92.8 million handsets in the January-March period, of which 80 million were smartphones. With this, the company managed to capture 23% share of the global smartphone market. Fix for Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ red tint issue now rolling out in India

After South Korea and Europe, Samsung has now started rolling out the Galaxy S8/S8+ red tint issue fix in India as well. Weighing in at around 426MB, the update arrives as firmware version XXU1AQDG. Both S8 as well as the Plus variant are getting the update.
