Lexar launches 512 GB NM card for Huawei phones

Huawei introduced a proprietary memory card format called NM card back in October 2018 and has been using it on most devices for the past five years. The standard saw no adoption outside the Chine maker's own devices and understandably memory makers didn't exactly rush to embrace it. Yet now that Huawei sales are apparently picking up again Lexar is hopping on board. So far the largest available NM card was 256 GB, but the company now launched a new NM card with 512 GB capacity. The NM card is one-third smaller than the micro SD card and fits in the nano-SIM slot. The reason why...

Apple iPhone 15 vs. Apple iPhone 15 Pro

Traditionally, Apple sells more Pro models compared to the vanilla ones. Both definitely have their place on the market and, in our experience, tend to appeal to a different crowd typically. Still, you may be wondering whether to get the regular iPhone 15 or the iPhone 15 Pro. Apple continues to introduce plenty of segmentation between its vanilla and Pro models, but that undoubtedly varies year to year. With its new display, the inclusion of the Dynamic Island and the move to a new 48MP camera, the vanilla model is arguably closer to the Pro this year, more so than in recent years....

Google Pixel 8 Pro gets drop and scratch tested, survives

The Google Pixel 8 Pro was drop and scratch-tested by PBKreviews on YouTube and survived. The test consists of a few drops from the waist and head height onto the phone's front, back, and side. The only genuinely critical damage was to one of the display's corners but it doesn't impede the phone's regular operation. The Pixel 8 Pro also withstood a bag of dirt and gravel with almost no issues. Here's the video. These drop tests may not be scientific, but they are fascinating to watch.
