Samsung has revealed that it has shipped more that 5 million units of its Gear VR headset till date. The revelation was made by none other than the President and COO of Samsung Electronics America Tim Baxter at the ongoing CES. To refresh, the first Gear VR headset was released by the tech giant back in December 2014, and it was only compatible with the Note 4. The following year, an updated version was launched that worked with a few more Samsung flagships. The Gear VR (2016) was launched back in August last year alongside the ill-fated Galaxy Note7. Via
