Apple suspends iPhone Reserve and Pickup service in the US, UK, and Italy

Apple's Reserve and Pickup iPhone service is quite useful if you don't want to wait in line. You buy the phone online and then you have a timeframe to get it. Unfortunately, the service is now suspended for customers in the US, UK, and Italy. It's not gone for good, as Apple will resume it on the morning of September 17. It seems the initial stock of the new iPhone 7 series is quite limited and Apple wants people to get it the old fashioned way - piling up in front of the stores and wondering if they will actually get one or not. The first wave of iPhone 7 pre-orders is already...

Microsoft's Lumia line will be killed off in December, report claims

Wondering what's up with all those crazy Lumia deals popping up everywhere every single week recently? Why Microsoft is continuously dropping the official pricing for its few remaining Lumia-branded smartphones across territories? Samsung wants to use AMD or Nvidia GPUs in its Exynos chipsets, plans to ditch Qualcomm for good in 2018

According to a new "exclusive" report from behind the scenes, Samsung is in talks with both AMD and Nvidia for GPU tech. Namely, the Korean company wants to stop using the ARM-developed Mali GPUs in its Exynos chipset designs, and instead use ones created by AMD or Nvidia. At the moment, the latter has an upper hand apparently, thanks to its "superior" Pascal architecture, but AMD can't be ruled out just yet since its Polaris architecture is powering the PS4 Pro.
