Huawei mocks Galaxy Note9, promises real flagship upgrade

Huawei Mobile has been seemingly unimpressed by the Galaxy Note9 that launched the other day and used its Twitter account to take a dig at Samsung for it. We took a leap when we launched the #HuaweiP20Pro, we're all about real upgrades that will make a difference everyday like a triple lens camera with 40mp, 5x zoom and much more. Imagine what will come next. pic.twitter.com/AjUS86YHyK— Huawei Mobile (@HuaweiMobile) August 9, 2018 "This is called a real generation upgrade." says the tweet comparing the P10 Plus and P20 Pro and it's clearly suggesting that the Note9 is a rather minor...

Fortnite fo Android is no longer limited to Samsung devices but you still need to wait

When Samsung launched the Galaxy Note9 a few days ago, it announced a partnership with Epic Games. As part of the deal, Fortnite was exclusive to Samsung devices for the first few days before going public. Well, that period has ended and you can now download the official installer and run it on your non-Samsung smartphone. But don't get too excited. As the game is still in beta testing, there are limited slots available and unless you have an invite, you can't download it. If you install the app and try to run it, you will be shown a message inviting you to get on the waiting...

BlackBerry KEY2 LE specs and photos are out

Old-school BlackBerry fans were excited to see TCL releasing a follow-up to the original BlackBerry Keyone and it turned out to be a pretty decent smartphone. However, the letdown was the pricing. The KEY2 isn't packed with flagship hardware, but it asks a price premium and costs around $100 more than its predecessor. A budget version is on its way, though, aiming to deliver better bang for your buck. By looking at the leaked photo, the KEY2 LE will have a slightly altered keyboard that's closer to the original Keyone while retaining some of the new functionalities like the shortcut...

Qualcomm reaches a deal with Taiwanese regulators

Qualcomm's legal department is working overtime lately. It's got Apple's lawsuits, Korea Fair Trade Commission's $927 million fine and the European Commission $1.2 billion fine to contest. Now at least the American firm reached a deal with the Taiwanese Fair Trade Commission. The dispute started back in 2017 and the original fine was $778 million because Qualcomm is refusing to sell chips to OEMs that wouldn't agree to specific patent-licensing terms.
