A new 5G Realme bags multiple certification. It could be the X3

Realme, just like so many others, felt the first wave of the still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic rather severely. Multiple launch plans were disrupted, most-notably those for the Narzo 10 series of devices in India. Over the last few days, however, we have been hearing more and more about alleged Realme X3 devices, like the X3 SuperZoom, which recently earned some certifications and passed through GeekBench. In what now seems like a potentially related development, another mysterious Realme phone was spotted, making certification rounds at the Cinese 3C and the MIIT...

The Oppo Ace 2 is already on the way. In fact, it is only mere hours away from its April 13 release, as evidenced by a swell of leaks, as well as officials, teaser, videos. The latest of these details the freshly brand-tweaked, "Reno"-less Ace 2's display in quite a bit of detail. Including its 90Hz refresh rate. At the same time, we have also been keenly aware that Oppo's upcoming, restructured lineup will include A-series devices. As per leaks, at the very least, an Oppo A21 and two other mystery devices - CPH2067 and CPH2069. One of which, perhaps the Oppo A72. Well, now the plot thickens...

OnePlus 8, 8 Pro and accessories India pricing leaks

It's not April 14 yet, hence, still a few days to go until the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro become officially, official. Up until that pint in time, the leak tidal wave continues. In the words of DJ Khaled - "another one!". Hot on the heels of the live OnePlus 8 Pro photo, from just a few hours ago. Joking aside, this source does appear to offer some interesting new info. Namely alleged pricing for the pair of phones and their accessories. Operative word here being "alleged", since we really can't say if these are accurate or not. Hi Galaxy, Samsung S Voice to be discontinued on June 1

Way before Bixby debuted on the Samsung Galaxy S8, it had another voice assistant called S Voice that debuted on the Samsung Galaxy S III. It wasn't a replacement for Google's voice commands, but it was able to do things like call contacts, set reminders, launch apps, and perform Google searches. It didn't really have any personality or tell any jokes. As per a report from Sam Mobile, Samsung's S Voice will cease to operate as of June 1, 2020. If you try to use S Voice after June 1, 2020, you'll only receive a response from S Voice that says "I'm unable to process your request. Try...

Nokia 9.3 and Nokia 7.3 to launch in August or September, rumor says

The next Nokia flagship smartphone is definitely taking its sweet time arriving on the market. The would-be successor to the Nokia 9 PureView from last year has the task of actually being a success, sales-wise, unlike its predecessor. Not an easy thing to accomplish for the reborn brand, but also not hard to surpass the Nokia 9 in that regard, in pure numbers. A new rumor today claims the Nokia 9.3 will finally be announced in mid to late Q3. That means sometime in either August or September. So it looks like HMD pretty much gave up on trying to compete with the first wave of 2020...

Samsung Galaxy A71 gets disappointing DxOMark camera score

The Samsung Galaxy A71 was tested by DxOMark and got middling results - with an overall score of 84, it either matched or was left behind phones in its class. This phone is comparable to last year's Galaxy A50 as well as other mid-rangers such as the Moto One Zoom and Nokia 7.2 (but those two are cheaper). The main 64MP camera offers impressive dynamic range, beating the iPhone 11 and Pixel 3a, for example. Color rendering is mostly okay (though white balance tends towards blue). So, where did it all go wrong? Despite boasting a high resolution sensor, the images from the phone...

Google Pixel 4a retail packaging revealed in new leak

It's been a while since we heard anything regarding the Pixel 4a but this latest leak is about to change that. The retail packaging for the phone has ended up on Slashleaks, which gives us a look at both the packaging as well as the phone itself. The packaging itself is nothing special; the design is identical to the Pixel 4 packaging, with a simple white layout showing two thirds of the back of the phone. But that look at the back and the side of the phone shows things haven't changed much since the last time. You can see the square camera bump in the corner mimicking the...

CEO posts OnePlus 8 Pro night time photos, compares them against another phone

The OnePlus 8 Pro will use a 48MP main camera, betting on larger pixels rather than chasing megapixel counts as well as a 48MP ultrawide angle cam. CEO Pete Lau's latest tweet shares two camera samples shot in the dark, as well as two photos from a "another flagship" for comparison. The ultrawide shot has been pixel binned to 12MP resolution. This matches the 12MP photo of the competing phone, however since the EXIF info was stripped, we can't be sure what it is. The OnePlus phone reveals much more detail in the darker areas, though it looks heavily processed. Wide angle: OnePlus...
