Honor 5A scores more than 11 million registrations for its first sale

The Honor 5A, which was made official by Huawei earlier this week, received more than 11 million registrations for its first flash sale. This was revealed by the Chinese company yesterday. The number - undoubtedly - is impressive, but one should keep in mind that it doesn't mean that those many people pre-ordered the phone - it's just the number of registrations for the sale. The device - which carries a price tag of RMB 699 (around $105) - was scheduled to go on sale in China yesterday. So, we expect the company to reveal the actual sales numbers anytime now. As for the phone's...

SM-N930F, alleged to be Galaxy Note7's model number, shows up on Samsung's website

A model number alleged to be of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note7 smartphone has been spotted on the South Korean company's official website. Specifically, the website now hosts a user agent profile page for the model number SM-N930F. There's little reason not to believe that SM-N930 is one of Note7's model numbers given that the Note5 was SM-N920 and the Note 4 was SM-N910. Coming back to the UA profile page, it - unfortunately - doesn't reveal anything else about the device. The Note7 (which should ideally have been called the Note 6, but isn't) has already been the subject of...

Apple can't keep up with the iPhone SE's demand online and at some stores

If you've been trying to buy an iPhone SE lately, you may have been out of luck with supply of some color/memory configurations scattered about Apple Stores and Apple taking upwards of two weeks to ship iPhone SEs out. The iPhone SE has a much higher demand than Apple actually anticipated. It looks like the return of 2013 hardware with updated 2016 internals became quite popular notably thanks to the 4-inch screen that had many users really wanting to get an iPhone SE so they can reach every corner of the screen with their thumbs. Tweak helps OnePlus 3 better manage its 6GB of RAM

While other flagships of the year max out at about 4GB of RAM, the recently announced OnePlus 3 surpasses this feat with a whopping 6GB of RAM. While 6GB of RAM may not be a requirement for a smartphone to run well, OnePlus decided to go with 6GB anyway. The tweak should only be performed by users who know what they are doing, editing the build.prop file to be exact. Samsung's next Gear smartwatch to run Tizen, is codenamed 'Solis'

Samsung had codenamed the Gear 2 'Orbis' - Latin for 'circle'. The next one is codenamed 'Solis' - 'Sun'. This means the roundness of the next Gear smartwatch should not be doubted.
