BLU G72 Max announced with Helio G37 and 5,000 mAh battery

The US-based company BLU announced its latest smartphone dubbed G72 Max. Unfortunately, BLU hasn't shared any pricing or availability dates yet, but the specs clearly suggest a low price point. The device is built around a big 6.8-inch 90Hz IPS LCD panel with a modest 720 x 1600px resolution and runs on a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset. There's a single memory configuration - 4GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of expandable internal storage. We've seen quite a few 3GB/64GB options in supposedly the same price bracket, so kudos to BLU for that one. On the back of the device, you will find...

Samsung cuts Galaxy S22 prices in India

As it's usually the case with older flagships, prices drop once their successors launch and that's what Samsung did in India for its Galaxy S22 smartphones. However, only the biggest and smallest of the S22 family can be purchased at a discounted price, whereas the Galaxy S22+ is not available at all. The vanilla Galaxy S22 now goes for INR 57,999 starting price, while the 256GB option will set you back INR 61,999. Originally, these iterations cost INR 72,999 and INR 76,999, but of course, those were launch prices from a year ago. The Galaxy S22 Ultra also sees a significant price...

OnePlus Pad leaks in new official-looking image, has a camera protrusion you can't unsee

The OnePlus Pad is expected to become official on February 7 at the same event where the OnePlus 11 is making its global debut. The tablet has so far been portrayed in some dark "speculative renders", and then the company itself teased it in late January. Today, courtesy of the always on point Evan Blass (a.k.a @evleaks) we get a better look at the upcoming device, through a newly leaked image that seems to be an official marketing render. That camera circle/island/bump/hump/protrusion... thing though - it's just something else, isn't it? Clearly OnePlus was aiming for unique design...

Sony Xperia 1 V image leaks, it might literally be the hottest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 device

Sony's Xperia 1 V may or may not be made official at MWC in Barcelona at the end of this month. While we wait to see if that actually happens, let's enjoy the first leaked image purportedly showing the upcoming flagship smartphone. If you compare this camera island to the Xperia 1 IV's, you'll instantly notice that the ToF camera and the RGB IR sensor are gone. Thus, we're left with three big sensors (they look bigger than on the 1 IV), of which the lowest one houses a periscope camera. Anker admits lack of encryption on Eufy security cameras

Anker got itself in a big debacle over its Eufy security cameras which were caught uploading footage from users’ cameras to the cloud without their consent as uncovered by information security consultant Paul Moore back in November. The bigger problem was that the uploaded user content from Eufy cameras was accessible via media players such as VLC for others to watch. Anker claimed its cameras used end-to-end encryption with all content being stored locally and only sent to devices on the user’s home network. After months of uncertainty, Anker finally admitted that its Eufy cameras...

It will be the Nothing Phone (2), coming in late 2023, that targets the US market specifically. Nothing sells its TWS buds in the US, in fact, the US accounts for a third of all sales.
