iPhone 7 and 7 Plus cases by Louis Vuitton start at $1,180 and go up to $5,500

There are some companies out there that will take an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, cover it in gold and/or other expensive materials, and then sell it to you for a few thousand bucks. They're called Eye-Trunk because the luxury fashion brand wanted a play on "i" and the fact that it used to make trunks. Or something like that. Anyway, the cheapest case costs $1,180 and the most expensive model goes for $5,500. And...

Microsoft thinks it's a good idea to put ads in your Windows 10 File Explorer

Microsoft has been trying to make the concept of ads in operating systems acceptable for a while now, using Windows 10 as its testbed. We've seen lock screen ads, notification ads telling you that Chrome is eating your battery and you should switch to Microsoft Edge, and even some weird targeted pop-up ads for Chrome users informing them about Microsoft's Personal Shopping Assistant. So by now you should have gotten used to this. That said, Microsoft is ready to take things to the next level - specifically, the Windows 10 File Explorer. That's a pretty essential app that we assume most...

Huawei P11 will probably be announced at MWC 2018, exec says

This year Huawei chose to make its flagship smartphone official at Mobile World Congress, which was a departure from what the company's done in the past few years when it favored standalone events in April. And it turns out that the 2017 P-series launch in February was no one-off accident. In fact, the company plans on doing the exact same thing for the P10's successor next year. So expect the Huawei P11 to "probably" become official at Mobile World Congress 2018. Or rather, if it once again goes the pre-MWC route, on the Sunday before MWC 2018 starts. The information comes from Bruce Lee,...

Meizu M5s review: Shiny armor, rusty ammo

Meizu M5s might be coming late to the series, but the phone has a certain charm worthy of our attention. The M5s is akin to the M5 in lots of ways, but the choice of materials and chipset are not among those.

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier gets an update

Samsung suits its smart watches with in-house Tizen OS, instead of relying on Android Wear. The latest and mightiest of all wearables by the Korean company is the Gear S3 Frontier, and as the leading device, it is also the pioneer when we're talking about firmware updates. The SM-R765 model (the one with LTE) got another upgrade today. It is mostly bug fixes but also includes an unknown new feature called 'Jansky Wearable'. We still don't know if this is a Watch Face or something you can do with the watch, but hopefully an early adopter will be able to fill us in. The Gear S3...

Oppo F3 Plus specs leak online

After a few street ads in the Philippines and an official press invite, we are now pretty certain Oppo is preparing to launch the F3 and F3 Plus pair on March 23. From the looks of things, it is almost certain that Oppo is rising up to the dual-selfie challenge, set by vivo, with the V5 Plus family.
