Xiaomi's upcoming Mi 10 flagship rumored to pack a 4,800 mAh battery

Xiaomi's upcoming flagship, within the traditional "Mi" lineup is still very much shrouded in mystery. Thus far, we've heard to company's co-founder and president Lin Bin mention a Mi 10 Pro on social media. Naturally, this probably entails a vanilla Mi 10 as well. And, in fact, the existence of a regular Mi 10 was also, kind of, confirmed after the announcement of the Snapdragon 865, which will likely be powering it. A fresh new rumor from Weibo claims to pertain to this vanilla Xiaomi Mi 10 and specifically - it's battery capacity. The latter is said to land somewhere in the 4,500 -...

Samsung Galaxy S11+ receives Bluetooth Certification

You know the drill already. As we get closer to the February 11, or perhaps February 18 release of the next Samsung Galaxy S11 flagship family, the phones start popping-up all over the place, getting their documents in order. This time around we have a Bluetooth certification on our hand, issued to the SM-G988. To be even more specific, the document lists three models: SM-G988B_DS, SM-G988B and SM-G988BR_DS. The "DS" bit here denoting a pretty self-explanatory Dual SIM handset. As per certain earlier GeekBench runs, the SM-G988 model number belongs to the Galaxy S11+ - the biggest...

ZTE's Axon 10 Pro has been one of the most underrated 'flagship killers' of the year, when it comes to simply looking at the specs on offer and taking into account the affordable price as well. Google Messages testing floating conversation bubbles on Android 10

Google introduced a new API called "Bubbles" which would make it easier for app developers to push more visible notifications directly on top of the user's display, much like how Facebook Messenger does with its "Chat Heads" feature. The folks over at XDA-Developers were able to manually enable the Android Message Bubbles and they've posted some screen shots of the feature in action. There's honestly not much new to the feature compared to Facebook's Chat Heads - as you receive a message, you'll get a visual notification on top of your screen, so you don't have to leave the app you're...

Android 11 could finally let you record videos over 4GB in size

Fun fact: Android phones can't record video files that are larger than 4GB in size. This could possibly change next year in Android 11, though, and to say it would be a welcome change is a huge understatement. The limitation is getting more and more annoying as time goes by, because right now handsets capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps are basically everywhere, and that means big file sizes. 4K60 takes up even more space, and don't be surprised if the first devices with 8K recording capabilities show up on the market in the very near future.
