Alleged Nokia 5.1 Plus (or X5) gets Bluetooth certification

A Nokia smartphone carrying a model number of TA-1109 - which already went by CCC in China - has now received Bluetooth certification. While the certification doesn't reveal much about the device, it does show that it's powered by a Mediatek chipset. The smartphone comes with support for Bluetooth 4.2. There's no confirmation on which Nokia device the TA-1109 is. However, given that a recent leak revealed Mediatek-powered Nokia 5.1 Plus, it's possible the TA-1109 is the Nokia 5.1 Plus or Nokia X5. Instagram decides not to roll out screenshot notification feature

Earlier this year in February, Instagram started testing a feature that would inform the users if someone took a screenshot of their Story posts. The feature was in beta testing and only select users were part of it. The feature was met with backlash as users had grown used to taking screenshots of Story posts for whatever it is they intended to do with them. It's one of the things that made people prefer Instagram Story mode over Snapchat Stories as the latter has always had screenshot-warning built-into it. It seems Instagram has decided to hear its users on this one. According to...

She explained that Sony is now focusing on a new Xperia Home app. The reason? We still don't know but it probably has something to do with the new gesture controls introduced with Android P, so Sony probably decided to start from...

Samsung Galaxy Note9 to come with bigger battery and a faster wireless charger

A famous Weibo and Twitter tipster called Ice Universe, published two design schematics of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note9. If this is true, the Galaxy Note9 will incorporate a slightly bigger battery. But due to customer complaints about the Note8's fingerprint reader being placed too close to the camera sensor and when reaching for it, they are smudging the camera lens. Unsurprisingly, Samsung appeals pro-Apple $539m verdict

Samsung isn't giving up on its court battle with Apple, even after a federal court jury ruled it should pay $539M in damages for infringing patents.
