The Android OS was jut beginning to feel its oats when the Nexus One arrived; on the heels of the very successful release of the Motorola DROID, the Nexus One packed a single-core 1GHz Scorpion processor along with 512MB of RAM. After that came the Nexus S, the Samsung GALAXY Nexus, the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5. In the space of only four years, we've gone from that Scorpion CPU to a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM...
