Google and Verizon sign a global patent license agreement


Google and Verizon Wireless entered into a patent cross-license agreement. The long-term deal between the search giant and the Big Red covers a broad range of products and technologies. Unsurprisingly, avoiding future patent litigation is the main reason behind the deal between the two companies. A cross-license agreement will allow both Google and Verizon to focus on innovation. Both tech giants are interested in reaching similar arrangements with other companies....
