Just a day after there were reports that Google is planning to offer wireless service in the United States, Bloomberg Businessweek is reporting that that the Mountain View company has reached an agreement with Sprint, under which it will operate as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) - paying for capacity on the carrier's network and then selling the service to its own customers. The deal is said to be facilitated by Masayoshi Son, the president of SoftBank, which bought Sprint in 2013, and the report notes that the search giant may start its service as soon as this year.
