Sharp is starting the new year early with a couple of Japan-exclusive phones. The interesting one in the duo is the Aquos mini - an Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone with a 4.5" IGZO 1080p screen with Sharp's EDGEST minimal bezel design. It has a Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core 2.3GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage expandable through a microSD card slot, LTE and a 13MP main camera. Built inside is a 2,120mAh battery rated at540 hours of stand-by. The Sharp Aquos mini is water proof and comes in four color options - Cyan, Magenta, White and Black. The other announcement is the Sharp Aquos K - a flip-phone with a 13MP camera with auto HDR, LTE, a touch-sensitive trackpad and quad-core 1.2GHz processor.
