Pinterest has announced the acquisition of Instapaper for an undisclosed amount. The two services will continue to operate independently, however, the Instapaper team will also work on Pinterest and as such, has moved from their New York City office to Pinterest's San Francisco office. Pinterest's acquisition of Instapaper seems fitting, considering Pinterest itself is a service based around saving content for later from around the web, primarily as images and short text snippets, whereas Instapaper is about saving long articles for later reading.
