A new report from its home country of Japan says Sony may finally be getting ready to outfit its top of the line devices with OLED displays. So far, the company has only used LCD panels for its smartphones, but that's set to change in 2018 or 2019, apparently. That's when Sony's flagships will feature OLED screens like Samsung's high-end phones. The Korean manufacturer has been employing OLED panels in its Galaxy S and Note lines for many years now, and this has so far been a standout feature for those devices - at least compared to Sony's.
