HTC announces the Desire 500 in Taiwan


HTC has announced a new mid-range Android smartphone in Taiwan called the Desire 500. The phone is priced at a suggested retail price of NT$11,900 and will be launched exclusively through Taiwan Mobile on August 1. Red Motorola DROID Ultra rumored to cost $100 for Big Red employees starting today

Late Monday, we showed you a picture of the Motorola DROID Ultra wearing a 'V' shaped black and white racing stripe down the Kevlar back; this, we figured, was a picture of the Limited Edition version of the Motorola DROID Ultra. We started thinking aloud about the possibility that this would be a version of the phone offered to Verizon employees at a discount.
