Microsoft opens official hardware store on Amazon India

Online sales are definitely not something new for Microsoft India. The local representative has been offering software for quite some time now. But other than Windows, Office suits and various development tools, the official Microsoft store does not offer anything from the US tech giant's extensive device lineup. These are of course available through various dealers, but no central, official marketplace existed up until now. Microsoft has taken steps to address that and has launched an official device store, through Amazon India. The store is practically new and is still rapidly building up a portfolio, but with a current list of categories, spanning: Microsoft Xbox, Windows Phone, Windows 8.1, Office, Accessories and Laptops & Tablets it seems that most every physical product that Microsoft has to offer could potentially be distributed through the channel. Currently the Amazon page only has a few active deals, including two Xbox One bundles, but everything looks promising and it should be only a matter of time until the whole thing gains momentum. Microsoft confirms Lumia 535 touch issues, fix coming soon

The Microsoft Lumia 535 enjoyed warm reception due to its affordable price and attractive specs. It even offers a dual-SIM option for just few euros more. But lots of early adopters began complaining about touch problems. Two of the most common issues with the Lumia 535 are the improper multi-touch detection and the low touch sensitivity that results in either the phone not detect your finger, or registering it in the wrong place. We experienced similar issues with our Lumia 535 throughout our review routine, so we are glad Microsoft has finally addressed them.. Apparently Microsoft is familiar with the touch issue and is already working on a fix. The company claims the touch sensitivity on the Lumia 535 is higher than it should be and thus all current problems. The fix will be seeded as a small software update over the air. We hope this update indeed fixes the touch-related problems the users are experience right now. Until then you may want to try to turn off the Screen Magnifier (turned on by default) from Settings -> Ease of Access - users are reporting this will improve your touch sensitivity in the right direction.
