LG says no Android Lollipop plans for Vu 3
LG has quietly shared that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will not be released for the Vu 3 phablet which was announced in late 2013. The phablet launched in 2013 running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The Korean company released Android 4.4 KitKat for the Vu 3 which has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 coupled with 2GB of RAM. The core hardware is decent enough to run Lollipop, but obviously LG couldn't quite refine its software. Motorola started Android 5.1 soak test for Moto G 4G in US
Motorola has started a soak-test of Android 5.1 Lollipop for the first generation Moto G 4G in the United States. David Schuster, senior director for software product management at Motorola Mobility confirmed the update. As expected, Android 5.1 features Material Design. Notifications have also been changed to intelligently present the most important ones first. The Quick Settings in the notification tray will now offer Flashlight feature.
