IDC: Apple and Samsung lose market share in Q2


According to the latest figures from Internation Data Corporation (IDC) market analysis, Apple and Samsung continue to dominate the smartphone market. However, the companies have seen their shares slip in Q2 of this year compared to what they had last year. Of the estimated total of 237.9 million smartphones shipped this past quarter, Samsung accounted for some 72.4 million units, or 30.4%....

New iPhones and iPad may be announced September 6th

Given that we're coming up on the end of July, the likelihood is that we're just over a month away from seeing the unveiling of the next-gen iPhone, iPad, and possibly even the rumored low-cost iPhone.
