HTC One M10 tipped to go on sale in US in May

While we already know that HTC's upcoming flagship smartphone will be unveiled in London on April 11, there has been no word on its US launch. That, however, was until now, as the usually reliable tipster @evleaks has revealed that the phone will go on sale in the US in the second week of May. HTC M10: Hitting US retail the week of May 9th— Evan Blass (@evleaks) February 11, 2016 As you might already know, the name One M10 is also not final, with latest rumors suggesting that the 'M10' will be ditched in favor of some other (yet unknown) moniker. The 'One' brand, however, isn't going anywhere. Its rumored specs include SD820/unspecified Mediatek SoC (depending on the region), 5.1" QHD AMOLED screen, 4GB RAM, and 12MP UltraPixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and laser-assisted AF. In terms of OS, it is said to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense...

GFXBench listing reveals 4GB RAM, 16MP camera for Gionee Elife S8

After Geekbench, the Gionee Elife S8 (with model number GN9011) has now been spotted listed on GFXBench. The chipset (MediaTek MT6755), RAM (4GB), and Android OS (v6.0 Marshmallow) information revealed by the GFXBench listing is inline with the device's Geekbench listing. In addition, the listing also gives an idea about the handset's camera combo - a 16MP rear unit and an 8MP front shooter - as well as internal memory (should be 64GB). Although it also says the device sports a 4.6-inch FULL HD display, keep in mind that benchmarks have got this wrong quite a few times in the past. Gionee has already announced that its upcoming device will be launched at this year's MWC, which starts just over a week from now. There's little doubt that we'll see the Elife S8 getting unveiled at the event, especially given that fact that the Elife S7 made its debut at the same event last year. Source |...
