Sony Xperia XZ, X, X Compact and X Performance get May security update

Sony is rolling out the May 1 2017 security update to its line of Xperia X smartphones. The new firmware is seeding to the Xperia X, Xperia X Compact, Xperia X Performance and the Sony Xperia XZ. Earlier today we reported that the Xperia XZs has also received the update. May 2017 security update The update brings the Xperia XZ and X Performance to build number 41.2.A.2.223 while the Xperia X and X Compact have moved to build number 34.2.A.2.69.
