Huawei on schedule with Mate 40 launch, expects to ship 8M units in Q4 2020

Huawei is expected to introduce its Mate 40 lineup this fall, and according to a leakster on Weibo, everything is going to plan. Despite the further sanctions by the United States, we should see the flagship in October with a 5nm chipset. According to this very same leakster, Huawei is looking to ship 8 million Mate 40 phones in Q4 2020 alone. It is way too early for actual leaked specs, but we do expect the SoC to be called either Kirin 1020 or Kirin 1000. Source (in Chinese) | Via

Huawei's new flagship camera king, the P40 Pro+, is finally on its way to Europe, after having been announced back in March and subsequently going on sale in China not long ago. The company has announced that the device will be available to purchase, both in continental Europe as well as the UK, on June 25. It's priced at €1,399 and £1,299, respectively. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a neat phone with great specs and a reasonable price. But before we get to the first hand impressions, let's clear a few things up. This is the global Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, the people in India also have a Redmi Note 9 Pro, which is a different phone. The global Redmi Note 9 Pro corresponds to the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India, only that model has an 8GB RAM option. We are hoping Xiaomi will finally come to its senses and stop this naming madness, but we aren't very optimistic. So the Redmi Note 9 Pro that we have in our hands today has a 6.67-inch IPS...
