OnePlus Nord CE 3 live images fully reveal the phone's design

OnePlus is expected to launch the Nord CE 3 smartphone this year and aside from some specs, we saw some official-looking renders as well. Today's photos, however, confirm the design and show us the handset from all angles, confirming the validity of the initial renders. OnePlus Nord CE 3 The live images show a glossy, chrome-like finish on the back and a matte green-accented side frame with the power button on the right. The latter doubles as a fingerprint reader, which isn't surprising given that previous rumors point to a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This...

TAG Heuer announces three new Connected Calibre E4 smartwatch models

The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 lineup of smartwatches was announced last year and now the company is introducing three new additions to the family. As one would expect, all are quite expensive, with the 42mm option being the cheapest, priced at $2,350. The 42mm is smaller than the original but employs a 1.28-inch display with a virtually bezel-less panel protected by a sapphire dome glass. It's still an OLED, though, with 416 x 416px resolution. The body is made of black-coated grade 2 titanium chassis, making it the lightest smartwatch from the company. The 42mm Golf...

Apple considers turning to LG for microLED smartwatch displays

Just a couple of days ago, we reported that Samsung is moving fast with its microLED panel development for smartwatches and some believe that Apple will use them for its future Watch Series. However, the latest report puts LG Display into the mix as well. An industry source says that LG Display has already set up operations and it's producing backplanes for microLED screens in small quantities. Production will likely kick off in the second half of 2024, so the first Apple Watch with a microLED display is supposed to arrive in 2025. This contradicts the recent report on Samsung's...

Apple acknowledges a strange display bug, to fix with a software update

A growing number of iPhone 14 Pro users report a strange display issue when booting up or unlocking their devices. Green and yellow horizontal lines appear on the screen that seem to disappear later on during the startup process, so it's not breaking the user experience completely, if at all. Luckily, Apple has acknowledged the issue and will soon release a software update addressing the weird horizontal lines. It's realistic to expect the issue to be fixed with an upcoming small patch or with iOS 16.3, which is currently being tested by Apple and public beta program...
