Samsung Pay is off to a robust start in Korea with $30 million in transactions in the first month

Samsung revealed that Samsung Pay is off to a robust start in Korea. The Korean giant's recently announced payment service has raked in $30 million in transactions in the first month after its launch. Thanks to wide acceptance among local businesses, Samsung Pay accumulated more than 1.5 million transactions through September 20. Curiously, 60% of all payments have been made by the Samsung Galaxy Note5. Samsung Pay will launch in the United States in less than a week, on September 28.
