In the U.S., Windows Phone numbers may not be all that impressive, but globally the platform is still growing at a very respectable clip. In the recent numbers that showed Android with 80% of the global market, it also showed Windows Phone with about 9%, which was a solid increase from last year when the platform had 5.6%.
