Apple's 64-bit A7 chipset that debuted in the iPhone 5s has 1 GB of RAM packaged together with it, so that's what the new iPads boast as well, it occurs. Of course, we'd have to wait for an actual teardown when the slates go for the dissection table to confirm what Apple's rep is saying here, but we'd wager to bet the 1 GB figure will turn out correct, if history is any indication...
