Apple is shutting down Beats Music service on November 30

Just over a year after acquiring it for $3 billion, Apple has announced that it's pulling the plug on Beats Music - the subscription streaming music service will shut on November 30. All Beats Music subscriptions will be cancelled on the aforementioned date. The Cupertino-based company, however, is encouraging users to make a switch to Apple Music, saying that they can move their picks and preferences over to the company's new music streaming service "right now." "All the pros that curated music for you are still crafting more amazing experiences," Apple said in a support document. "Plus, on Apple Music, you'll get even better recommendations based on music you already listen to and love, 24/7 global radio with Beats 1, exciting material from your favorite artist, and more." This comes less than a month after Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that Apple Music - which was launched back in June this year - now has a total of 15 million subscribers, of which around 6.5 million are paying to use...
