AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S6 Active receives Android 5.1.1 update

AT&T has started sending out a pretty important software update to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. Unfortunately it's not Marshmallow yet, but it is the next best thing: namely, the last version of Lollipop. That's Android 5.1.1, to be exact, and this has finally reached the Galaxy S6 Active, many months after first being released by Google. Alongside the version bump, the update also comes with support for Samsung Pay, the Korean company's own competitor for Apple Pay and Android Pay. As this update is rolling out over-the-air in stages, it may be a few days before your S6 Active pops up that notification for you. Though if you're impatient, go to Settings > System > About device > Software update and manually check. After having applied the update, you'll be on build version G890AUCU3BOJE. Source |...
