CR (along with consumers) wasn't happy with some of the changes that the S6 brought on, but the S7 aced most tests. The S7 and S7 edge topped Consumer Reports ratings. The battery life is Excellent (especially in the dark) and so is the still camera. The 1080p camera was rated Very good, "among the best we've tested in a smartphone."
