Gionee has just announced the X1 smartphone for the Indian market. It will cost 8,999 INR (€119) and will come in Black and Gold colors. The Gionee X1 has a 5-inch 1280x720px display and runs on a Mediatek MT6737 chipset. 8MP front and 8MP back camera, a 3,000mAh battery, dual-SIM slots and a microSD card slot are also among the highlights of the mid-ranger.
