Average selling price of phones went up 7% in Q3, a new record

It's more than just your gut feeling, data by GfK shows a record rise in the average selling price (ASP) of phones for the third quarter of this year - it's up by 7% compared to the same period last year. Global demand rose moderately (up 3% YoY) to a total of 367 million units - the highest number for this period of the year.
