
Smartphone shipments in India reached a record-high of 39 million units in Q3 2017, data by analyst company IDC reveals. The amount is 40% higher than the previous quarter and 21% more than Q3 2016. Xiaomi tied Samsung for the leading spot in the Top 5 manufacturer list, each company having 23.5%. The overall success of the market is mostly due to online festivals that happened in August and September.
