Qualcomm going back to TSMC for its 7nm chips, production starts later this year

According to people familiar with the matter, Qualcomm is reportedly going back to TSMC for the production of its 7nm Snapdragon 800-series chipsets, instead of Samsung. This is actually the second time we hear about that, so there's a strong reason to believe the rumors. TSMC has been a partner with the American fabless firm for many years until Samsung won over the Taiwanese company for the production of the 14nm and 10nm chips.
