Earlier today, Honor announced a bunch of new tech that's supposed to make it to its future smartphones and the 48MP camera sensor is one of them. It takes advantage of the Quad Bayer tech. The camera uses Sony's IMX586 CMOS sensor with 0.8µm pixel size. It's will surely be part of the upcoming Honor View 20. Thanks to its Quad Bayer method that stacks four adjacent 2x2 pixels into the same color, photos appear sharper and without much noise even in challenging low-light scenarios.
