Despite some design similarities with the Realme 8, the 5G model is an entirely new device that comes with several key differences starting with the chipset. Realme 8 5G is the first device in India with MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 SoC. The 7nm chip supports sub-6 GHz connectivity with peak speeds of 2.77Gbps.
