Netflix introduced an ad-supported plan in 2022, which costs USD 7 / CAD 6 / GBP 5 / EUR 6. And, as announced earlier this year, the streamer has removed its Basic plan, which was the cheapest ad-free option (at $10/€5 a month). Netflix is now implementing this change as multiple people on Reddit report that they have received notifications that their Basic plan is ending and they have to choose a new one – the cheaper ad-supported plan or one of the two other ad-free plans the $15.50 FHD and $23.00 4K options.
