The shutdown of the Nextel PTT network by Sprint helped lead the carrier to its 23rd consecutive losing quarter; according to Kevin Smithen at Macquarie Capital, the quarter was "ugly, but no worse than expected." For the third quarter, the carrier reported a net loss of $1.6 billion or 53 cents a share. That compares to a loss of $1.3 billion or 46 cents a share the previous year...
