HTC Desire 620 gets announced for Europe, out next year


HTC first unveiled the Desire 620 in late November, but then it did so only for its home market of Taiwan. Now though, the handset has been announced for Europe, where it's set to land sometime during the first quarter of 2015 (so before the end of March). The Desire 620 could be viewed as a successor of sorts to the Desire 610 that became available earlier this year. The new phone comes with a 5-inch 720p Super LCD touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP front snapper, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot. Running the show is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, and there's a 2,100 mAh replaceable battery in tow too. The Desire 620 has support for 4G LTE networks, alongside Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6. It will be offered in three color versions - white, grey with a light grey accent, and grey with an orange accent (which you can see above).
