YU has announced an updated version of its Yureka smartphone. Called the Yureka Plus, the only differences between the old and the new model is the jump from 720p to Full HD 1080p display and a new camera. The display is the same size as before, which is 5.5-inches. As for the sensor, YU is now using a 13 megapixel Sony IMX214 sensor with 5 element Largan Blue lens and f/2.2 architecture. The resolution is same as before but the new sensor should definitely have significantly improved camera quality, which wasn't a strong point of the previous Yureka. The rest of the phone is seemingly identical, running on the same Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD slot, dual SIM support, LTE, 5 megapixel front camera, 2,500mAh battery, and Cyanogen OS 12.
