The Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic smartwatches, which were made official late last month and showcased at this year's IFA in Berlin, are now up for pre-order in Canada. Best Buy Canada is currently taking the pre-orders, and the listings show a release date of October 2. As for the price, the Gear S2 carries a tag of CAD 400 ($301), while the Classic variant will set you back CAD 430 ($324). Specs-wise, the Gear S2 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core CPU, and sports a 1.2" fully circular Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and 302ppi. It comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory, and packs in a 250mAh battery. Connectivity options for the wearable include Wi-Fi: 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC.
