The Samsung Galaxy J3 was announced in November, and starting today you can already pick one up from Virgin Mobile if you're in the US. Furthermore, the handset will reach Sprint's other prepaid brand, Boost Mobile, on January 18, which is next Monday. That's when you'll be able to find it in retail stores, while online availability will start on January 19. At both prepaid carriers, the Galaxy J3 is priced at $179.99 (plus tax), obviously without any requirement of signing a long-term contract. The Galaxy J3 has a 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 2 MP front-facing unit, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE, and a 2,600 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. The version sold at Virgin and Boost has lesser cameras than the internationally-announced model, but it also comes with double the internal storage. Source |...
