Nvidia Shield Tablet receives June security patches, low latency audio support

Remember that pretty substantial update that started going out to Nvidia's Shield Tablet K1 almost one month ago? Well, the good news is that it's finally on its way to the original Shield from 2014. With the 4.2 software version, the Nvidia Shield Tablet will get Google's Android security patches for June (yes, not the ones from this month yet unfortunately). Some new features are baked in too. For example, the tablet now supports low latency audio, USB host mode, 24-bit@192kHz stereo and 7.1 HDMI output, and MIDI support over USB and Bluetooth LE. There's a new option to toggle...
