Some smartphones are born with color, and some smartphones have color thrust upon them. The HTC One is part of the latter group. At launch, there was a silver option and black. Then HTC released a red variant of the One for Sprint users, and we also recently saw a metallic blue option that will be exclusive to Best Buy.
