Fujitsu's latest phone is world's first to feature iris recognition

Fujitsu's latest smartphone, the Arrows NX F-04G, has become the world's first to be equipped with iris authentication tech. The device recently went on sale in Japan, where NTT Docomo is offering it for $750 sans contract. For those who aren't aware, iris authentication is a type of biometric authentication that uses the pattern of the iris in the human eye. This feature in Fujitsu's smartphone is known as Iris Passport, and it lets you unlock the device as well as perform web login by simply looking at the screen. Specs-wise, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC with octa-core CPU and Adreno 430 GPU, and sports a 5.2-inch 1440x2560 IPS display. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal memory, and packs in a 3,120mAh battery. The Arrows NX F-04G features a 21MP main camera, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
