The Panasonic Lumix CM1 smartphone/camera hybrid, which was announced back in September last year and shown off at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), is now up for pre-order in the US. As for the price, the device - which has been available in Europe for a while now - carries a tag of $1,000 (unlocked version) in the United States. Specs-wise, the Lumix CM1 is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable internal memory, and packs in a 2600 mAh battery.
