The OnePlus team definitely took its time with updating the OnePlus X to OxygenOS 2.2.0, but today, well over a month after its sibling, the OnePlus 2 received it, the rollout has finally started. Granted, the two models do have a pretty distinct and different set of problems to address and the OnePlus X did, already receive a 2.1.3x hot patch for a lot of its aches a while back. Still, it is nice to see that the OEM is actively supporting its products. As per the concise changelog, the OxygenOS 2.2.0 OTA includes: Manual mode for Camera App Save to SD card option in Camera App USSD bug fix for India Added dual SIM preferences back in system settings OTA App upgrade Security patches General bug fixes and optimizations The USSD bug in particular was a major problem within the community, seeing how it prevented users in India from reviewing their call info after ending a conversation - quite basic functionality. The rollout is incremental, as expected, so if you have the aforementioned problem or any of the other listed issues on the OnePlus 2, be sure to check the update option frequently in the next few days. As for the eagerly-anticipated Marshmallow update for the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X, there is no official word yet, but the dominant opinion throughout the community seems to be that it is still a couple of months...
