As planned, the Gionee S9 was made official today in China. Hard to call flagship-grade, the phablet packs some interesting hardware nonetheless. The specsheet starts with a 5.5-inch FullHD display and goes on to include a Mediatek P10 chipset - both carried over from the S8. Not entirely though - while the display numbers are the same, the S9 makes a switch from AMOLED to LCD. RAM and storage have been kept at 4GB and 64GB respectively.
